Workshop Agenda

The Workshop will take place from Tuesday, August 26 through noon Friday, August 29 2008. Additionally, everyone is welcome to participate in "Data Collecting Day" on Monday August 25, which will be an informal day to gather all the incoming data and modeling information and get it ready for the workshop.

The workshop will consist primarily of examination and discussion of observations and models supporting the Whole Heliosphere Interval. The workshop structure will include plenary/full group discussion sessions in the mornings, and small group breakouts in the afternoon. Please note that we will not be accepting abstracts for spoken presentations, though posters are welcome.

TUESDAY, AUGUST 26:

Characterize global connected non-transient heliosphere

10:30 AM: Working Groups (45 minutes each, for presentations summarizing expectations/goals for workshop and plenary discussion)

12:45 -- 1:30 PM: LUNCH

1:30-3:30 PM: WORKING GROUPS BREAK OUT (sub-groups of 2 and 3 meet at least initially as one group)

3:30 PM: BREAK (soft drinks, snacks) CG1 ATRIUM

4:00-5:30 PM: WORKING GROUPS BREAK OUT


WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 27:

Analyze energy transport/transients throughout heliosphere
