Resolution: 24 sec
Contents: Solar wind proton and alpha moments. Also, proton omnidirectional spectra included in the file.

These are considered 3DP’s highest quality proton moments – calculated on the ground from the 3D distributions. We have onboard moments, too, at higher time resolution (3 sec), but the quality is not considered as good. So onboard moments are useful for looking at high time resolution. The PLSP that I just uploaded should be used instead of the onboard moments when such high time res Is not needed (which is most of the time) since they are better quality.

The data and images in these directories were provided by science team members for these instruments.
